Language Classes

The Centre offers Japanese Language Classes for all ages, starting with kindergarten right up to adult. If you want to learn Japanese, introduce your child to the Japanese heritage, maintain your Japanese Language skills or just have an interest in the Japanese culture, these language classes are for you!

For high school students Grades 9 – 12 we offer 3 levels of Japanese instruction, each fully eligible for a Manitoba Department of Education Language Credit, if they pass the final exam.

Classes held at the Cultural Centre, 180 McPhillips St.

We teach a full school year and classes can’t be joined mid-term.

Fall Term: Sep 16 – Dec. 16 , 2017 (12 classes)

No classes: Feb 17 , March 24 & 31 , May 19

NOTE: Your school Principal or Administrator will advise if you are eligible for a Language Credit.
Students must be 14 years old, who were born in 2002; Credits are available to Grades 9-12 students only

REGISTRATION

All Program or Language Class Registrations are due and must be paid for ONE WEEK prior to the commencement of the Program or Class. We urge you to register early to avoid disappointment. Some workshops may have qualifying requirements. Insufficient numbers in registration may result in cancellation and all monies will be refunded.

ANNUAL TUITION (based on 2017-18 figures):

Heritage Language:  $ 370  High School Credit:  $ 400  Adult Language:   $ 495    (prices subject to change for 2018-19 year)

Early bird discount of $20 will apply before August 25, 2018. Late fee of $20 will apply after September 8, 2018. All classes are dependent on enrollment and therefore subject to cancellation.
